Architectural Terminologies

During the course of Architecture we have come across many terms. Some of them are:
Architectural Representation: The symbols used to represent things or objects of architectural importance like openings, walls, glass,etc is known as Architectural Representation.
Aesthetics: The artistic Beauty of a Structure
Plan: The view of any structure when seen from the top
Elevation: The side view of any structure
Openings: A word used for windows, doors, ventilation, etc
Arch: A curved structure capable of spanning a space while supporting significant weight.
Facade: The exterior side of a building is generally known as a Facade
Landscape: All the visible features of an area of land, often considered in terms of their aesthetic appeal.
Column: It is a pillar that holds the weight of the structure above it.
Design: The creation and representation of an artistic imagination.
